If you want to turn off informational email messages, or you don't want to receive any notifications, you'll find an answer in the I don't want to receive email notifications section.

Email and Cerebro client notifications are only sent regarding tasks the user is Subscribed to.

There are three levels of notifications, and notification settings are inherited from the first upper level to the lower ones by default. If a lower level has custom settings, the settings of the upper level will be ignored. For example, if a user set custom notification settings, then the notification settings for the Universe and Projects will not apply.

Notification levels:

  1. Universe notification settings. Only Universe administrators can access these settings.

  • Main menu - Tools - Administrator...

  • Universe tab, Notifications tab to the right

  • You can set up which notifications will be sent to your Universe's users

   2. Project notification settings. Only Universe administrators can access these settings.

  • Main menu - Tools - Administrator...

  • Projects tab, select the project from the list that you want to set up notifications for. On the right, select the Notifications tab

  • You can set up which notifications will be sent to users for the chosen project

   3. User notification settings.

  • Main menu - Cerebro - My profile...

  • In the "My profile" window, click the "Notification settings..." button

  • In the Notification settings window, you can set up which notifications will be sent to your user.
