Cerebro provides the ability to install plugins (plugin development documentation) in the main application to extend its functionality. Using plugins makes it possible to adjust the application to the needs and preferences of a particular user.

The following types are available for connection:

  • package plugins — installed on the user's personal computer;

  • network plugins — loaded by the Cerebro client when the specified network path is available to the user, without saving it to the computer.

Each plugin can be enabled or disabled without causing disruption to the main functions. Plugins are connected in two stages:

  • uploading to the universe;

  • distribution between users of the universe.
